Giorgio Mancini
After a brilliant career as a dancer with the Ballet du XXe siècle and the Béjart Ballet Lausanne, Giorgio Mancini was appointed director of the Ballet du Grand Théâtre de Genève at the age of 31 after having danced with the company during several seasons. Nine years later he took over as director of the MaggioDanza dance company in Florence where he remained until 2007.
